STIL comment"In 1988, as mentioned, I did The Last Ninja 2 for System 3. I did the Central Park tracks first, which was important in order to stamp some sort of "sound" on the game. It basically took from mid-January until early April to finish. It's about as big a project as you would want to undertake, but everything just seemed to work without any real hitches. I was given a fairly free hand to produce what I thought would be most suitable and luckily, every time I took in new tracks for each level, I got the thumbs up. It was a great time for me personally, to suddenly be working full time on C64 music. I was almost 18, but I had no real worries in the world beyond whether I could afford to buy a better car. I think the entire The Last Ninja 2 soundtrack is my proudest achievement, especially the Central Park tracks, as they seem to mean so much to so many people. The project itself was a pleasure to be part of. The whole team involved were probably at the top of their C64 game at the time, from John's programming to Hugh's fantastic graphics, Tim's storyboarding and of course Mark's overall vision and commitment. It's amazing that we're still talking about it nearly 30 years on." (MDG)

  Title: Kentilla (3:31-6:08)
  Artist: Rob Hubbard
Comment: Only the part from 6:10-8:36 in Kentilla is covered here, mostly the bassline of it. It is quite possible that both Kentilla and this tune are covers of a third one, though.

Title: Beat Dis [from Into The Dragon]
  Artist: Bomb the Bass
Comment: Bits and pieces, not the whole music. The bassline mimics the original pretty well.

Title: Midnight In Tula [from White Eagle]
  Artist: Tangerine Dream
Comment: It's not a complete one-to-one implementation, 'cause Matt added some of his own flavor to the muse, but it's quite obvious where he got the idea from in the first minute or so. ;)

OVERALL REMIX64 VOTE:

prone:
As an old Bomb The Bass-Fan this is a fine tribute to the roots… Reminds me of back in the days…
kwed:
So what if the SID apes Bomb the Bass' Beat Dis baseline? Turning a Last Ninja tune into a mixture between Scooter and the Acid Brass album is a brilliant idea. Hopefully it will lead the way for more Stadium House style remixes.
LMan:
The stadium atmosphere is well done and saves the tune from being average.
omoroca:
Is this supposed to be funny? If so, I didn't get the joke, sorry! Maximum respect to Armakuni, but minimum respect to this remix!
ifadeo:
Doesn't work for me, DHS done something similar with his IK+ (Chemical Stadium Remix) but much better…
anaconda:
Does not quite make it to be a scooter copy. The crowd is well done. But the rest is plain boring.
_steve_:
The stadium effects are very well done, but the tune definitely sounds like a midi instrument set composition. With better instruments, it would merit a good rating.
devilhood:
Crowd + General MIDI doesn't really work for me… Might as well have just linked us a MIDI file in the forum or something.
LaLa:
It gets an average rating from me only because the live feeling is fairly good. Otherwise it's this remix is fairly poorly done.
weasel:
No way, dude… It doesn't sound 'live' in any way… And if it really _is_ this was a bad live-gig comparing the instruments used!! Sounds _very_ mid'ish to me! Doesn't work…🫤
westerling:
Hmmm. Little man from another place in a C64-remix?😊
gavin:
Nice idea, but rather boring
