Never heard the SID, but this one is quite good… Reminds me of Paul van Dyk & Tiesto.

After 2½ minutes it becomes great!! I guess I hear scissors as a rhythm-instrument. Could also have been used to cut the length of the song 😊

Dafunk has done much better, a hard SID to mix but the result is a little boring and predictable

Unfortunately the actual tune doesn't kick in until five minutes in, by which time most people will have got bored, despite it being a good standalone trance tune. It needs to be a lot shorter too - shame that cos it's well made.

Yep something that reminds to the late 90s german duo above mentioned, but less atmospheric and a little bit more emotional. Nice tune btw, not the best for me.
