"I think this was the first song with the enhanced version of 'Soundcontrol'. Now it was a sound programming language (SOPROL) where you could type in your songs like a basic program (with labels, sound commands and so on), and a compiler converted it to machine language. Unfortunately the compiled songs were running VERY slow because of the structure of the SOPROL language." (HG) Holger Gehrmann also did the music for the Amiga version of the game which shares the same melody.

The vocals do indeed seem to have absolutely no place in this track whatsoever, but I have an unabashed love for the general sound you accomplished here. It reminds me at least slightly of Erasure, which is only a good thing.

The synth sequencing is decent enough. The selected vocal effect does not fit into the concept. Bassdrum and snare sound like they come out of a children's keyboard. Overall, the 80s idea is very nice but needs more careful execution.

I like the retro-feel, but the vocoded voice is just awful; jittered and muffled. A nice effort, and the arrangement idea is totally acceptable, but the mixing and sound is pretty far from the top. Keep at it, CC & S. There's some real potential here.

The arrangement's okay, if a bit thin, but the attempt at doing Kraftwerk style vocals clearly does not work, and almost ruins the tune. The lead for the main voice is also way too shrill which doesn't appeal either. Needs a few tweaks, this one.

Horrible vocoder. Sounds like an 8-voice Amiga mod. The different sounds are borderlining on being off-key at quite a few times.
