Red one for the skillful rap. Quality!
infamous:
Ya know what? This is EXACTLY what artists such as jayz etc have made a fortune out of doing, get an old tune and rap over it adding very little, these guy's have done exactly the same and deserve the recognition cos they wont be getting $$$… Well done.
knotti:
Cool Hip Hop Mix of X-Out
Zilog:
Grows on me, interesting stuff, really
omoroca:
This one's got style. Not my style, this British rap stuff, but very cool.
Dan:
Nice and easy to listen too, very laid back but a bit of effort in the music department wouldn't have gone a miss, perhaps someone could do something with it? As a reviewed point, the lyrics are really nice 😊
quinch:
Now you're just being silly.: p
LMan:
The rap is pretty good, the voice could use a bit of compressing or exciter for more presence. I also agree that the music should be enhanced.
nicodaemus:
Fresh. Technically not the best effort. Room for improvement? Definitely.
anaconda:
Good idea, but a bit too repeating.
nickenstien:
Not realy a rap fan but nice-one for doing something different 😃 backing track could be better though. Would enjoy more with work done on the tune 😃
romeo_knight:
Nice idea 😉 though I think the X-Out theme is strong enough working without rap vocals. Downsides on the technical side.
Waz:
Nice enough although sometimes the repetitive hip hop drumloop just doesn't work all the time. I would reommend a tweak.
Makke:
I quite like the rap on this. It could've used a bit of layering on the lyrics to fatten it up in places. The backing track is pretty cheap though. A pretty OK effort I guess.
Skitz:
This would have been a whole lot better if Solo had put some effort into remixing the underlying SID (like C64Mafia) instead of just adding a hip-hop drumloop. Nice though…
LaLa:
Interesting lyrics, I'm not too crazy about the quality (or lack thereof) of the voice track. Original SID tune is almost untouched with some hip-hop drumtrack added to it. Disappointing as a SID remix, disappointing as a hiphop tune.
emrebulsat:
This sound must be more funk.
eliot:
Hmm… For me the rap-stuff does not fit to the tune…
weasel:
Nope! Doesn't work for me… Although I like rap quite a lot. But this still sounds too much of 'pure amateur home-production'…
Satanarchist:
SiD with drums is just lazy, and there's way too much rap - it just becomes annoying.
Dumper:
Oh no, more talking ahhhhhh.
