STIL comment"I produced the music and sound effects for the C64, Spectrum 128k, and Amstrad versions. Jonathan Dunn handled the 48k Spectrum version which was a completely different set of tunes. I really enjoyed working on this. Paulie Hughes wrote a new C64 driver as Martin had just left Ocean, and nobody could understand how to use his driver." (GB)

OVERALL REMIX64 VOTE:

Zilog:
Very good
LaLa:
The mixing doesn't bother me at all here, it's a rocking remix, very well arranged.
anaconda:
Better than pool of radiance, still a bit noisy. But all in all a good tune.
Mitch van Hayden:
Well done
Dan:
Didn't think it was too bad bar some better mixing and a bit of imagination somwhere along the tune.
LMan:
Good.
weasel:
Mixing ruins most of the idea I'd say here, too. But in the end it's also kinda not innovative enough as well.
Boz:
Oooh… Close but no rabbit. Guitars are way too loud for anything else to shine through, and that includes any bass on the kick-drum (or indeed the bass guitar).
Waz:
The mixing is very noisy, but not just that, to open with swathes of the SID just to get people into the tune is quite crafty. It doesn't work because then the guitar overpowers everything. Needs tweaking in the mixing department big time.
Makke:
Same problem as with Pool of Radiance: Way too noisy mixing!
eliot:
Outch… Hurts my ears…
omoroca:
Same goes for me: OUCH!!!
