| STIL comment | "In 1988, as mentioned, I did The Last Ninja 2 for System 3. I did the Central Park tracks first, which was important in order to stamp some sort of "sound" on the game. It basically took from mid-January until early April to finish. It's about as big a project as you would want to undertake, but everything just seemed to work without any real hitches. I was given a fairly free hand to produce what I thought would be most suitable and luckily, every time I took in new tracks for each level, I got the thumbs up. It was a great time for me personally, to suddenly be working full time on C64 music. I was almost 18, but I had no real worries in the world beyond whether I could afford to buy a better car. I think the entire The Last Ninja 2 soundtrack is my proudest achievement, especially the Central Park tracks, as they seem to mean so much to so many people. The project itself was a pleasure to be part of. The whole team involved were probably at the top of their C64 game at the time, from John's programming to Hugh's fantastic graphics, Tim's storyboarding and of course Mark's overall vision and commitment. It's amazing that we're still talking about it nearly 30 years on." (MDG) |

| Title: | Kentilla (3:31-6:08) |
| Artist: | Rob Hubbard |
| Comment: | Only the part from 6:10-8:36 in Kentilla is covered here, mostly the bassline of it. It is quite possible that both Kentilla and this tune are covers of a third one, though. |

| Title: | Beat Dis [from Into The Dragon] |
| Artist: | Bomb the Bass |
| Comment: | Bits and pieces, not the whole music. The bassline mimics the original pretty well. |

| Title: | Midnight In Tula [from White Eagle] |
| Artist: | Tangerine Dream |
| Comment: | It's not a complete one-to-one implementation, 'cause Matt added some of his own flavor to the muse, but it's quite obvious where he got the idea from in the first minute or so. ;) |

z80:
For me it doesn't catch the LN feeling, but I won't blame you! It's awesome!
emrebulsat:
Very nice low frequences.
prone:
I just love it… Very well done, especially the great machine sounds… Outstanding!!!
LMan:
Ooh, nice stuff! Evil breakbeats kick ass.
anaconda:
Where did the original tune go? Who cares!
Nada:
The instruments remind me of those early 90s techno tunes (which is the only flaw in an otherwise professionally made remix)
condor:
Very good one! Still, that wau-wau synth ruins a track for red one!
eliot:
I do not like thiz subtune, it kinda suxx… But thiz time inf did great.
Tas:
Not really my cup of tea - but it sounds like there's a lot of effort gone into the mix so thumbs up Chris.
omoroca:
Captures the spirit of the original SID and the cold loneliness of the New York street levels of LN2. But I still don't like it that much.
LaLa:
Kickass energetic beat, but the rest of it doesn't really do much for me.
Skitz:
This is let down by some very thin instruments and bizarre FX. The breakbeats are awesome as per normal from Infy!
Makke:
Awesome beats, but the rest doesn't really speak to me for some reason.
Waz:
It's a nice effort and there's certainly a lot to be said about doing an evil breakbeats version - even though it's actually more Beat Dis ultimately. Certainly this is up there with Infamous' best though and there's improvements here!
Dan:
Chris' production is really coming along but I just didnt like this tune as much as I tried
weasel:
Takes too long in the beginning for my taste. Nice idea in general but could have been worked out a bit better in the end.
xgener8or:
Not my cup of tea. Does not give the good old ninja feeling
rossa:
Nothing special, poor instruments
selvatico:
Banal and not original
