| STIL comment | "I used to love playing this arcade machine when we had got it at the offices at Elite, those Easter Island type stone heads that flew towards you were especially effective. The original in game tune had got a memorable melody so I decided to stick to it. The middle section of my version may be original though, the tune plays a little faster than on the arcade machine. This was due to the fact that my routine didn't contain a fractional timer at that point. Speeds were determined by the shortest note length which could be 1,2,3 or 4 etc. The speed differences were thus 100%, 50,33% etc. with no in between values. The rest of the tunes in the set are original compositions I think, maybe tune 2 was close to the arcade version." (MC) |

I love this song!
g3r:
Nice but needs some production work.
Puma2020:
Excellent!
marko42:
I like this arr!
8bit_fan:
Space Harrier is one of my favourites. Would have liked the whole lead tune - only half of the original lead tune is included in this remix. Great Space Harrier remix never the less 😀
denise:
Maybe not superb (for technic/prod) but surely the best Space Harrier mix, with the feeling of the original work
crik:
Very good and nostalgic mix
fraspras:
One of the best space harrier mix, good 'ol time
bexs_79:
Good nostalgic mix
emrebulsat:
S. H. Is my fav sid too. But I think this arrangement must be richer. The 2nd verse is incomplete. Not problem. Its ok.
LaLa:
Dreamy, but doesn't get me excited. It sounds washed out because of all the effects.
omoroca:
The bass is a little heavy, but aside from that it's Ok. Feels like a dream.
condor:
It reminded me to JMJ - Palawan… Nice instrument selection, but that's all. However, idea is here, just some improvement.
eliot:
With Headphones on it does nothing to my brain 😀 Some nice instruments, but the delay feels displaced. Hans, nice approach anyways… Happy xmas 😀
infamous:
Just a bit too boingy for me… But its a good idea. A really good idea with a little more something this could be a thing of beauty.
chilli_uk:
Yes the reverb is too much and its a version of a very week arcade tune as well BUT I actually do like it - but I think this should be the beta - there is a lot of potential there - give it another go
Analog-X64:
The instrument with the Multi-Tap or Ping-Pong Delay ontop of all the other Reverb does not work. Listen to this track 100 Feet away from the speakers and you can see where things go wrong and need to be fixed. Dont want a headache
Skitz:
Meh!
Tas:
An experiment which I think fails. The lead just does not work at all with the background making the mix feel disjointed and disorentating.
Waz:
Good idea, not so good execution I'm afraid. The mixing is all over the place and the reverb and delay just does your head in after a while. Clean it up and make it tidier and it'd be well worth a listen.
LMan:
The idea is there, but the mix is pretty muddy. Far too much reverb and delay, and not enough care for the details in the arrangement. Still, not unpleasant to listen to.
