STIL comment"I got the phone call from Mark [Cale] asking me to write some level tunes - I wrote the music, went down there [to System 3] to meet Archer Maclean (? I think it was Arch that put the driver in.....), got offered Mark Cale's slightly-dodgy-import-status left-hand-drive BMW, said "no thanks, I'll have the cash please" and that was that." (BD) Q: How was Anthony Lees to work with? A: "Only met the guy once - on that one day - he said 'hi' - I said 'hi' - that was about it." (BD) The titles of the individual tunes found below are based on as they appear in the game.

SUBTUNE INFO

#1 - The Wilderness (loader)

  Author: Anthony Lees

#2 - Palace Gardens (loader)

  Author: Anthony Lees
Comment: "I did six tunes for LN, the first of which was the one involving the creepy jungle music (....which was and still is my favourite) - the inspiration is hard to nail down, but it was probably the film 'Apocalypse Now' - very dense, troubled and scary moods were evoked." (Anthony Lees)

#3 - The Wastelands (loader)

  Author: Ben Daglish

#4 - The Palace (loader)

  Author: Anthony Lees

#5 - The Inner Sanctum (loader)

Comment: Interesting comment in this binary: "DONE BY ANTHONY LEES FOR SYSTEM 3 ON 5/4/87...EAT YER HEART OUT GALWAY!".

#7 - The Wilderness

#8 - Palace Gardens

#9 - The Dungeons

#10 - The Palace

Comment: Although the tune is credited to Anthony Lees since 2001 in HVSC, the music player of this tune is by Ben Daglish. Ben doesn't remember making this tune and also he has no idea how the tune ended up being in his player if it was made by Anthony Lees. It could be that the music was credited to Anthony Lees because Anthony claimed to have made 6 tunes for the game while actually 5 are made in his player. Since Anthony passed away, we can't verify it anymore and it will be a mystery who of the two actually made the tune.

#11 - The Dungeons (loader)

  Author: Ben Daglish
Comment: This is also the tune for "The Inner Sanctum".

OVERALL REMIX64 VOTE:

Nebdar:
It is a hit that makes it own new style and type of remixes. Great Job.
Kawdjer:
Awesome song, I've already listened to it many (and more) times. Keep up the great work!πŸ˜ƒ
infamous:
This is bleeding excellent this is, very film soundtrackish
klosterkatten:
The first Last Ninja tunes TmX weren't all that special, but it seems time moves quickly, and skill improves 😊
Dan:
Was really enjoying this but when the guitar comes in it really lifts it further
Nada:
Ideal for a soundtrack. If only it sounded more human (some sounds are horribly synth'd)
snorski:
Interesting twist in the middle… Very nice indeed!
LaLa:
This was fairly cinematic until about 1:14 when that thin panflute lead kicked in. The guitar riffs are very nice, though. The arrangement is a but jumpy, but I understand it was made-for-movie. We need an album soundtrack version.
condor:
Very good remix. I just love the orchestral part.
Skitz:
Absolutely stunning movie score feel to this - cannot wait for the movie to be released!
Mayhem:
Keeps the original feeling of the piece with some kicking sounds behind it!
dimmignatt:
I'll give this a yellow just because the great work on the (is it real guitar?) sounds computerish. Really enjoyable. Though the electric acoustic guitar before really was BAD. Overall quite good could've been better but it also could've b
Waz:
Nice, very nice. Well up to TMX's usual standards. Love the way the electric guitar kicks in for the second part.
oxygen:
Nice tune I loved the symphonic orchestra
weasel:
Also a nice effort here. But as the previous tune this also has weird drums here which are a bit to much in the front in my opinion. Sounds a bit strange therefore. Anyways, looking forward to the final movie release!πŸ˜€
omoroca:
Last Ninja 1 in the style of Last Ninja 3! Not bad! But the orchestral instruments sound a little too thin to make this the epic work it's probably supposed to be. The lead in the loud part sounds very smudgy.
prowler:
Good work, but the overall arrangement is not really that tight imho
zapp:
Pretty try but nothing special
