| STIL comment | "[...] The Delta music loader and ingame music was Gary Liddon's idea. [...] He was the producer at Thalamus at the time. He told Rob Hubbard to make the ingame music like the 2nd track from Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd." (Info from Matt Furniss.) "The small jingles are all small clips from Sanxion and Romeo/Juliet music. They were all supposed to be for short stingers such as end of level, extra life etc..." "Delta was based on this minimalist composition technique inspired by Glass and a bit of Pink Floyd. It was quite hard to do and required some custom code to the driver to do it. The music was tedious to debug. The other Delta stuff was more conventional - I quite liked the other tunes. Delta was spread over a 2 week period....." (RH) According to Hubbard, Kentilla and Delta were the most complicated one to compose, they took the longest time to do and they both drove him insane. |

anaconda:
Another delta remix. And nothing much more to say about it.
cosmic_gerbil:
Cool, I like it
condor:
Lack of instrumentation. Sorry mate, average one.
infamous:
The bassline is all that saves this from a very very poor vote, I like the noise the rest of it is very very average and plodding.
LaLa:
The lead sounds tincan-ish. The promising intro _is_ the entire remix - there's no buildup, just repetition of the same thing.
brix:
Nice idea to give it a little Drum'n'Bass touch, but the bassdrum sucks badly and spoils it completely. Give it a good motherfucker bass and a little more breakbeat and it could be way better.
Makke:
Can't really fail this remix, but can't praise it either. It's all very basic, and straight forward. Almost a bit uninspired. The drum beat feels groovy at first, but the lack of variation makes it turn boring towards the end. Ok, but only just.
omoroca:
Too distorted! Wrong chords! Not the worst Delta remix I've ever heard, but definitely close to it!
Waz:
Can't really say this floats my boat I'm afraid, it just doesn't do anything exciting. The bass drum is out of place here and the lead is way too weak.
prowler:
I was just sitting and waiting for some wicked industrial elektro base to kick in and get this arrangement moving. I didn't get what I hoped for…
