| STIL comment | "[...] The Delta music loader and ingame music was Gary Liddon's idea. [...] He was the producer at Thalamus at the time. He told Rob Hubbard to make the ingame music like the 2nd track from Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd." (Info from Matt Furniss.) "The small jingles are all small clips from Sanxion and Romeo/Juliet music. They were all supposed to be for short stingers such as end of level, extra life etc..." "Delta was based on this minimalist composition technique inspired by Glass and a bit of Pink Floyd. It was quite hard to do and required some custom code to the driver to do it. The music was tedious to debug. The other Delta stuff was more conventional - I quite liked the other tunes. Delta was spread over a 2 week period....." (RH) According to Hubbard, Kentilla and Delta were the most complicated one to compose, they took the longest time to do and they both drove him insane. |

condor:
Yes, simple but nice…
Makke:
While not providing anything new under the sun, I still enjoy this. The sounds are very fitting for MusicWizard set out to do.
Analog-X64:
Not as bad as everyone is making it out to be… It can be beefed up a bit.
cosmic_gerbil:
I like it, it's groovy
omoroca:
Simple but nice! A little more arrangement could improve this one bc it sounds a little bit like it's only a prototype, but I also like it the way it is.
anaconda:
A nice micromix. It doesn't stand out, but it's ok made.
Waz:
Just does nothing for me and sounds a bit too weedy as well in terms of the mixing. I kept wanting to chant Koyaanisqatsi during it to give it some life.
LaLa:
A way too simple transcirption of the original, sounds like a straight SID-to-MIDI conversion. Nothing to see here, move on.
bepp:
I lack som bass in this song. Nothing original about it…?
pricer:
The SID is such a kick ass tune it seems weird to weaken it.
Scyphe:
A rather empty and lifeless rendition of the delta theme.:/
eliot:
Boooooooooring…
c64glen:
Nothing new hear we haven't heard in many many other arrangements of Delta.
prowler:
A bit annoying to be honest
Agemixer:
Very artificial. Why to release a remix, if it doesn't bring out anything fresh or different - or just atleast better to the original?
