STIL commentTune #1 is a joint venture between Rob Hubbard and Ben Daglish. The other sub-tunes were done by Rob Hubbard where some were arranged on paper by Ben Daglish. "I just think that Gremlin thought that the original Monty On The Run was very popular and they just didn't want to totally move away from what I did on the original, so they asked me to spend 2 days working with Ben at their office and that's what happened." (RH)

SUBTUNE INFO

#2 - God Save the King/Queen (The National Anthem of the U.K.)

  Artist: Traditional
Comment: This anthem is traditional and possibly one of the most known national anthems in the world. Each verse was written at a different time, ranging from the 1740s to the present day.

#3 - La Marseillaise (French National Anthem)

Artist: Claude Joseph Rouget de Lisle

#9 - Zorba, the Greek

  Artist: Mikis Theodorakis

Artist: Eduardo di Capua (music), Giovanni Capurro (lyrics)
Comment: During the 80s, Wall's Ice Cream used this music for their "Cornetto" commercials, "Just one cornetto, give it to me!". It may explain why it is used as an Italian jingle in this game!

Artist: Leo Caerts (music), Leo Rozenstraten & Leif Nilsson (lyrics)

#12 - Tulpen uit Amsterdam

  Artist: Herman Emmink

Comment: Quite likely inspired by the Swedish Chef theme, although Rob Hubbard doesn't remember ever having heard the original.

GhostEcho:
Really nice take on this classic, love it! But then I also like the Beasty Boys song.
wobbler:
How did I miss this little funky gem? Great mashup that got me stomping mah pheets.
Zilog:
Yeeha! Beastie Boys + SID Melody melt together so gorgeously! Once more a fab tune by Mistah Makke!!!
infamous:
Awesome, great little mashup
DHS:
Great work, originality + creativity = makke. Sadly, those elements aren't so valued those days.
ulfepulf:
I really don't like rap music, but cred for the awesome funkyness 😊
condor:
Yes, I like this one!
Nebdar:
Good wheere is the lyrics?
weasel:
Agree to the mashup-like feeling! But I really like it because of that! Not a bad version at all in my eyes!
maindrian:
It works really well, certainly not my style of music at all, but I like that it's nice and chilled.
dafunk:
I quite enjoyed this one, nothing wrong with it. The sid melody is there, the groove is there, mixing is ok, only it could've used a bit more complex and fatter lead and chord progressions IMO, so very good from me…
aleks:
The music sounds like Creme Caramel and the rap cuts through it like a knife, yummy!
anaconda:
Even though the AWM tune doesn't fit to the rest, it's believe or not one of the better AWM remakes out there.
kjetiln:
Fun stuff! Too much going on, would probably be better if you didn't have the melody playing together with the rap.
Trace:
I actually like this, cool twist makke 😃
kwed:
While the flow of the rap is a pretty snug fit, I can't help thinking that the end result sounds more like a Beastie Boys vs Hubbard mashup than a proper remix. The end result is good, but I would prolly have preferred it without the rap.
LaLa:
Piano and rap don't mix here. The piano is weak, anyway, the rap is average, the voice samples are out of place. A complete mashup that just doesn't work together.
Scyphe:
I'll ignore the fact that it's rap and just say it's a bit weak. Some melodic ideas sits in the background not going anywhere.
prowler:
A lot of funky samples. But it doesn't work for me, the mix is kind of stiff and I would've liked some heavier beat to carry the beastie boys rap.
Krim13:
… I press off… Waiting for the next song…
Satanarchist:
Awful piano lead destroyed by white boy rap and pointless chat samples… Why dammit why??
