STIL commentThis is the very first published tune on the C64 that used samples. "Q: How did you get involved with using sampled sounds? MG: I figured out how samples were played by hacking into someone else's code... OK, I admit it... It was a drum synthesizer package called Digidrums, actually, so you could still say I was the first to include samples in a piece of music. [...] Never would I claim to have invented that technique, I just got it published first. In fact, I couldn't really figure out where they got the sample data, just that they were wiggling the volume register, so I tried to make up my own drum sample sounds in realtime - which is the flatulence stuff that shipped in 'Arkanoid'. [...] After the project was in the shops I gained access to some real drum samples, and I slid those into my own custom version of the tune. The one that's in the shops is kind of a collage of farts & burps, don't you think? [...] Later I was able to acquire some proper drum samples and by 'Game Over' it got quite sophisticated." (MG)

Rotzlol:
Sweet song with good tune! Flawless! 😃
Melaure:
It daXXes! (new word better than roxx 😉)
Mathe:
That makes me happy if I sad - very great!
slaygon:
This… Takes me places! Loving it!
Windshield_CB:
Absolutely filthy. By the numbers, yes, but oh, what nice (and fat, and danceable) numbers they are! Bonus points for quoting Kraftwerk, like all good little techno tunes ought.
dafunk:
Oh, yes, groove it. This is soo my kind of stuff! Bangin' stuff mr. Crusher!😊
snorski:
Brillant reinterpretation of a classic… Would love to hear this one in the dance scene!!!
Mordi:
Although I'm not a big fan of the chosen genre, this is a great tune. Btw, it has more than enough bass! My subwoofer says hi. =P
LMan:
Technically flawless.
Mayhem:
And what a welcome way to begin 2010 now…!
infamous:
Love the drums im always a bit afraid to let them hang out like that and compress them down a little… Daxx is a fearless S. O. B and gives us a flying tech kick to the face… Fantastic stuff.
Amok:
More C64 remixes please, Mr. DaXX 😊
Peter W:
Personally I'd drop the violins during the break parts since it doesn't set up the oncoming onslaught of omfg wtf instant ❤️ as effective as it would have with some cool electro style synth sounds. Keep it up, love your work!
vurtx:
DaXX roXX my soXX!
kjetiln:
Ho ho hooo. Play that in my club! Great mix there, Daxx, though personally I would prefer the extended clubmix 😊
Razmo:
Have to agree with LaLa on the needle filosofy… It's too boring in length, and too much mee too! Trancy, but it's well done and to the point!
prowler:
Great work, but I was hoping for the title tune instead of the (rather boring) highscore tune 😉
C64ever:
Good remix indeed
NecroPolo:
Not my kind of stuff, but very good. Perfect floorfiller with cool length. No I don't think it's weak in the bass department 😊
k_rostoen:
I'd give this a red if it had a bit more bass. Sounds a little weak in that area right now.
LaLa:
I can definitely see it raise the roof in a club, but here at home listening with my headphones it just doesn't rock that much: the needle seems to be stuck on a single phrase.
omoroca:
Nice effort, but not my cup of tea!
condor:
Excellent one, but violins and lead synth sound ruined great remix.
