Zilog:
Brilliant!
vassago:
Like!
hillsman:
Really enjoyed this - a top remix for me that features all the best Platoon melodies.
omoroca:
It's a good idea to have that Nixon sample in the tune, as this man is strongly connected to this war. I like the way this tune conveys the senselessness of the Vietnam war.
Hex Madroom:
Very nice! I like the non-traditional construction. Some slight distortion on the vocals would have made it perfect for me. 😉 (i'm also a sucker for samples, nice nixon speech!)
NecroPolo:
Good stuff with various flavours of prog rock and electronica. The second part beats the first. Mixing could be smoother, some things jump out too much. Lyrics didn't meet my taste.
marcus256:
Missed this one… Very well done!
Mordi:
It picks up a lot of steam from about 3 minutes in. I think you should have based the whole tune off of the vocal-part.
Spite:
Overall a great remix, but the introduction with the speach was a tad too long to make it enjoyable. And the singing in the end was good, but didn't really fit in well with the tune somehow. But otherwise a great version of platoon!
Makke:
At moments, absolutely brilliant take on Platoon, but some levels are off here and there. A hard tune to tackle, but I think Mr. Svensson does it very well. Nice vocals, although they feel a bit misplaced, coming in as late as four minutes into the tune.
Waz:
A nice effort all round, but I'm not sure it feels emotional enough in parts due to the choice of instruments. And the vocals are really not necessary. It's a tough tune to tackle and there's parts of it which are done really well.
