STIL comment"In 1988, as mentioned, I did The Last Ninja 2 for System 3. I did the Central Park tracks first, which was important in order to stamp some sort of "sound" on the game. It basically took from mid-January until early April to finish. It's about as big a project as you would want to undertake, but everything just seemed to work without any real hitches. I was given a fairly free hand to produce what I thought would be most suitable and luckily, every time I took in new tracks for each level, I got the thumbs up. It was a great time for me personally, to suddenly be working full time on C64 music. I was almost 18, but I had no real worries in the world beyond whether I could afford to buy a better car. I think the entire The Last Ninja 2 soundtrack is my proudest achievement, especially the Central Park tracks, as they seem to mean so much to so many people. The project itself was a pleasure to be part of. The whole team involved were probably at the top of their C64 game at the time, from John's programming to Hugh's fantastic graphics, Tim's storyboarding and of course Mark's overall vision and commitment. It's amazing that we're still talking about it nearly 30 years on." (MDG)

  Title: Kentilla (3:31-6:08)
  Artist: Rob Hubbard
Comment: Only the part from 6:10-8:36 in Kentilla is covered here, mostly the bassline of it. It is quite possible that both Kentilla and this tune are covers of a third one, though.

Title: Beat Dis [from Into The Dragon]
  Artist: Bomb the Bass
Comment: Bits and pieces, not the whole music. The bassline mimics the original pretty well.

Title: Midnight In Tula [from White Eagle]
  Artist: Tangerine Dream
Comment: It's not a complete one-to-one implementation, 'cause Matt added some of his own flavor to the muse, but it's quite obvious where he got the idea from in the first minute or so. ;)

It is raining dogs and LN2 Central park remixes these days 😊 It is nice to meet an another newcomer axeman in the remix scene.
hillsman:
There's a few mixes of this track, but this version is exhilarating with some great drums and guitar work!
ifadeo:
Fuckin' awesome…!!!
LaLa:
Superb instrumentation, great arrangement, spotless mixing. My only minor complaint is that I would've changed the original arpeggios to chords or guitar licks. Other than that - wow!
Martijn:
Nice energetic remix, very good indeed! Rock on!
pie vs pie:
Good mix of sid and live guitar drums eh… Could be better but what makes this really nice is the harmony on the lead guitar oh yeah!
YogibearRenoise:
Great stuff! Very nice you added some riffs yourself!
ulfepulf:
Nice!
SarahKreuz:
Guitars are fine, drums are awesome - very well done (just can`t decide which one is better; yours or JPH`s - both great and forever to b placed in my collection XD)
Arne:
Very good hard rock remake of LN2. I like the solo guitar.
ZnL:
I love the guitars, good work here!
bexs_79:
Good in general… Quite closed sound, there are better remake of course
Ryrynz:
Guitar is awesome but the arpeggio buzz drives me crazy it's too much and gets annoying, somewhat obscuring the guitar and almost ruining this otherwise great song. Please change! Surprised it doesn't annoy the rest of you guys that much… Easy fix!
MattMaybee:
Overall, this is a competent effort and does remind me much of the original, but I agree with ryrynz here arpeggio drives me nuts too
omoroca:
Another aimless guitar noise version!
