#1 - Space Game

Title: Magnetic Fields, Part 1 [from Magnetic Fields] (0:41-0:51)
  Artist: Jean-Michel Jarre
Comment: This is a slightly adapted version of 5_Title_Tunes.sid, Tune #2. This tune was also used by Mastertronic as part of their "Invadeaload" tape loading game between 1988-91, which Rob knows nothing of whatsoever! "OMAHD was [...] Jarre inspired. It was actually based on something I wrote a few years before, so it was from music I had already written (as was Chimera and Phantoms of the Asteroids)." (RH)

OVERALL REMIX64 VOTE:

Fhood:
Echoes, space, synth sounds. Simply the best version ever heard of one man and his droid! Excellent.
InternetRebel:
This one's got Jarre written all over it, hence the name I guess. 😉 But Hubbard himself also 'admitted' to be very Jarre influenced when writing this. It's just great.
uanito:
Yes yes yes, something spacey, like blade runner, 13floor, jarre
crik:
Very dreaming arr!
Dan:
Great mix, kinda trippy and spacey in a way and very different to what has been presented before
gibs:
Original, Good Production
Waz:
I really like the way chosc has done this rendition - it's very ambient and spacey and the slower pace also works a treat. It's also very nicely mixed even if some of the notes don't sound quite right.
anaconda:
Good effort of creating something different. Though it doesn't allways sound good.
Makke:
Not a bad idea really. I just get a little bit bored towards the end.
LMan:
Jarre'ish indeed.
eliot:
The notes are not wrong, as romeo mentioned, they are a variation of the original. The frequency spread does not match my taste, too much hights, so it sounds a bit unbalanced. Nice idea imho, gets extra point, but rework strongly recommanded.
dimmignatt:
This doesn't do it at all for me… Nice try on a superb track but that old piano thingy just didn't sound right. At all.
snorski:
Nothing exitingly special… Not too bad either… Got a nice Jarre feel to it…
weasel:
Sadly wrong mixing (as often in the last time here)… Nice idea though and I would like to hear a better version of this one to be able to upgrade my rating!😀
jaytee:
Pretty good. Some times tunes can drift out of tune and sound good, didn't quite work here. Enjayable none the less. Like the idea, it could have been great.
romeo_knight:
Lots of wrong notes in the main melody, piano out of tune sometimes, bad mixing(lead to low/FX too loud etc.)
bastard:
Out of tune
omoroca:
Ouch!!! Wrong notes at 2:22, which makes this one a Poor one. Plus one extra minus point for raising and then disappointing the expectations by calling this Jarre space mix, which makes this one a Bad one.
