I don't mind the re-interpretation of the melody line so much; sometimes breaking away from the original can be a good thing in order to leave room for originality and still be recognisable. But rubbish vocal samples and poor moments of mixing… No.

Nice mix, but the melody line is missing several - IMHO, important - notes which breaks up its flow.

You have the idear right for a bouncing dance version, and it could easily have scored an orange smiley, if you just listened to the original and got the lead melody 100% right… This SID has a very catchy lead melody, so it's darn important you nail it

You've got the timing wrong on the main melody that is repeated through most of the song. It doesn't do the original SID justice.
