| STIL comment | "In 1988, as mentioned, I did The Last Ninja 2 for System 3. I did the Central Park tracks first, which was important in order to stamp some sort of "sound" on the game. It basically took from mid-January until early April to finish. It's about as big a project as you would want to undertake, but everything just seemed to work without any real hitches. I was given a fairly free hand to produce what I thought would be most suitable and luckily, every time I took in new tracks for each level, I got the thumbs up. It was a great time for me personally, to suddenly be working full time on C64 music. I was almost 18, but I had no real worries in the world beyond whether I could afford to buy a better car. I think the entire The Last Ninja 2 soundtrack is my proudest achievement, especially the Central Park tracks, as they seem to mean so much to so many people. The project itself was a pleasure to be part of. The whole team involved were probably at the top of their C64 game at the time, from John's programming to Hugh's fantastic graphics, Tim's storyboarding and of course Mark's overall vision and commitment. It's amazing that we're still talking about it nearly 30 years on." (MDG) |

| Title: | Kentilla (3:31-6:08) |
| Artist: | Rob Hubbard |
| Comment: | Only the part from 6:10-8:36 in Kentilla is covered here, mostly the bassline of it. It is quite possible that both Kentilla and this tune are covers of a third one, though. |

| Comment: | Bits and pieces, not the whole music. The bassline mimics the original pretty well. |

| Title: | Midnight In Tula [from White Eagle] |
| Artist: | Tangerine Dream |
| Comment: | It's not a complete one-to-one implementation, 'cause Matt added some of his own flavor to the muse, but it's quite obvious where he got the idea from in the first minute or so. ;) |

Ace_DK:
Awesome track!
jokesoldier:
Got to give a red face for one of the most famous classics on Slay đ
Zilog:
The singer is AWESOME, really'd like to hear more of her works, wow!
biagettipas:
Well done!
CJ Warlock:
F⌠King awesome remix! The C64 Remix fans were long waiting for something like this. Good tension progrss in music, awesome vocal + vocal FX, plus the life meant to succeed phrase that sound kinda affirmative - all together it makes a very good part.
Lucas1510:
I love the female vocals đ
GeorgeMakarov:
Awesome female vocals!
Mr.MurkyShadow:
It's growing on me the more I listen to it.
Mordi:
Very nice vocals! The instrumental track is a bit lacking though. Especially the drums, I'd say. Still a great track mainly because of the vocals. Very close to a red!
LPChip:
I really like this song. Close to a red smily actually. It somehow didn't stand out as a remix which is what kept me from giving a red one, but it is definitely a very good remix!
Jojje70:
Awesome female vocals but I feel that the music, although good, doesn't reach the same heights. Not so fond of the rap/talk part either. Torn between yellow and orange, the singing parts win me over though.đ
RayF:
Put those vocals over a more 2015-interpreted mix, and you got yourself a chart hit (for 8-bit blokes like me). Like the music, but it's still old. 80s freaks)
ChrisBond:
Nice
LaLa:
Hire the singer and the songwriter, fire the rest of the band. đ The wonderful singing is unfortunately not matched by a similar quality backing track. I mean, the backing track could stand by itself - it just does not work with this vocal.
mfe:
Great vocals, weak everything else. Get better backing and this could be so much better.
migu:
Have to agree with Jojje70. Great vocals but the rest isn't on par with them. Good job nevertheless!
