STIL comment"In 1988, as mentioned, I did The Last Ninja 2 for System 3. I did the Central Park tracks first, which was important in order to stamp some sort of "sound" on the game. It basically took from mid-January until early April to finish. It's about as big a project as you would want to undertake, but everything just seemed to work without any real hitches. I was given a fairly free hand to produce what I thought would be most suitable and luckily, every time I took in new tracks for each level, I got the thumbs up. It was a great time for me personally, to suddenly be working full time on C64 music. I was almost 18, but I had no real worries in the world beyond whether I could afford to buy a better car. I think the entire The Last Ninja 2 soundtrack is my proudest achievement, especially the Central Park tracks, as they seem to mean so much to so many people. The project itself was a pleasure to be part of. The whole team involved were probably at the top of their C64 game at the time, from John's programming to Hugh's fantastic graphics, Tim's storyboarding and of course Mark's overall vision and commitment. It's amazing that we're still talking about it nearly 30 years on." (MDG)

  Title: Kentilla (3:31-6:08)
  Artist: Rob Hubbard
Comment: Only the part from 6:10-8:36 in Kentilla is covered here, mostly the bassline of it. It is quite possible that both Kentilla and this tune are covers of a third one, though.

#9 - The Office (loader)

Title: Beat Dis [from Into The Dragon]
  Artist: Bomb the Bass
Comment: Bits and pieces, not the whole music. The bassline mimics the original pretty well.

#10 - The Office (in-game)

Title: Midnight In Tula [from White Eagle]
  Artist: Tangerine Dream
Comment: It's not a complete one-to-one implementation, 'cause Matt added some of his own flavor to the muse, but it's quite obvious where he got the idea from in the first minute or so. ;)

Average at best
bastard:
Finally a Last Ninja remix 🫤 The ending was a surprise though!
ChrisBond:
Not really a good peace of music
spavatch:
Let's sum it up: interesting first minute, maybe minute and a half, then a savage attack of ear-drilling pipy noise and finally… Wait, what's with the sudden stop? However, it's still salvageable, it just needs fixing these flaws.
kwed:
Starts out as a delightfully refreshing non-rock take on LN2, but around the 1:50 mark shrill sounds and bum notes start ruining the experience.
LPChip:
Nope, this made a few too many mistakes to be enjoyable. Sorry…
AmiStyler79:
OMG… My ears!
Empee:
Oh, the ringing sound is annoying as my baby's cry…
LaLa:
Lots of things wrong here and hardly anything right. If the remix being off-tune was intentional, I do not like it.
