| STIL comment | "I used to love playing this arcade machine when we had got it at the offices at Elite, those Easter Island type stone heads that flew towards you were especially effective. The original in game tune had got a memorable melody so I decided to stick to it. The middle section of my version may be original though, the tune plays a little faster than on the arcade machine. This was due to the fact that my routine didn't contain a fractional timer at that point. Speeds were determined by the shortest note length which could be 1,2,3 or 4 etc. The speed differences were thus 100%, 50,33% etc. with no in between values. The rest of the tunes in the set are original compositions I think, maybe tune 2 was close to the arcade version." (MC) |

archon:
I listened to the original arcade and mainly the C64 version million times. This is a gigantic interpretation Sega should pay for and I'm sure everyone who knows the original would appreciate. So much effort in this, deserves alot of love ๐ Thank you!
Tomsk:
Startlingly good remix. Strings, bass, lead, guitar all blended together with care and love. I can even forgive the 'shoehorned' vocoder, because it makes me smile. Wonderful all round!
Shark:
What a great remix, like you peter spent many an hour on this game and the remix of the soundtrack is perfect, Sega would be proud!
Paulie68000:
One of my all time favourite arcade pieces; I love the seamless blend of genres from the opening strings to the guitar break near the end. Pure class.
Poppykuk:
This is a dangerous remix! You listen to it and then it is in your head for the rest of the day. Such a good interpretation of a favourite game-tune of mine,
Mordi:
Awesome track, Peter! Your britishness is really shining through in this one, with the ELO references.๐
NecroPolo:
Lovely stuff Peter! I love the guitar playing especially.

YogibearRenoise:
Very enjoyable!
kjetiln:
The electrical guitar part is great, though the vocoder is really misplaced. Overall a quite boring, but well produced piece that sounds even more dated than the original, although that's intentional. It gets an orange because of the great craftmanship.
