STIL comment"I met Andrew Bailey at school and he was involved with writing games, so he asked me to write some music for his C64 game Druid. This was finally done over a weekend using a keyboard overlay. I wasn't looking for that work; it was just something I did for a friend." (David Hanlon)

OVERALL REMIX64 VOTE:

Gothmog:
Nice Mid-Age feeling, everything fits, Well Done! My favorite Druid mix!
Nada:
Wow!!! Great!!! It's like a crossover between Celtic folk and space age pop (reminds me of Jerry Murad's Harmonicats)
steve1977:
WOW! Really enjoyed this one…
cosmic_gerbil:
This is great; especially the rhythm
lonegunman:
Great Remix! A must!
LaLa:
Great choice of style (a mix of folksy, Irish and Celtic dance) coupled with some instruments from another era (harmonica, xylophone). It all works well, there are plenty of variations to keep me interested. Well done!
vosla:
Some passages sound very artifical (well, the instruments ARE artificial) and the selection of instruments is rich. The tune changes character a few times which seems to confuse people but I like it.
Hoogo:
I like it, its like some beginning bards playing on a market
Tas:
Very original… I like
LMan:
Very nice idea, although it shows that it's almost impossible to make electronic music sound real enough. Great work, anyway!
wavedancer:
Take your step shoes on and let's dance 😃
rusty:
Nice folky arrangement. Anyone care to dance with me?
omoroca:
The missing quantization makes it hard to decide whether there are real instruments involved or everything is purely synth. Nice idea to keep it that way!
Dan:
Altho I did really like this one, the middle segment sounded out of place and some of the background clanks and clunks just didnt work
c64glen:
Shouldn't work, but it does.
Makke:
I almost gave this Very Good, because it sounds so energetic. But I have to agree with skitz, it could use some more polishing. Even though the rough sound is part of what makes this remix special!
Skitz:
It's ok… Could do with some additional production
Waz:
Nice idea, execution not perfect but at least it shows some good ideas.
hispeed:
I really liked the ethno-style in your mix… Still something (bigger) is missing, but just can't figure out what it is 😊
vhold:
Middle section suddenly pulled me out of it right at the height of grooving. Still very impressive.
eliot:
Good. Too much kitaro-like instruments?😉
