| STIL comment | This is the sequel to Stormlord. "The story about the music for Stormlord II is long and tiresome, but to make it short I can say that Hewson never was satisfied with whatever Charles Deenen had to offer. Laxity, Reyn Ouwehand, Johannes Bjerregaard, Charles Deenen, Jeroen Tel, Jesper Olsen and even Link tried to do the music for the game, but Hewson always rejected it, and finally chose Matt Grey as the correct composer..." (Comment by JCH, from the demo "Vibrants Screens") Other versions can be found in the following directories: Bjerregaard_Johannes, JO, Laxity, Link, and Ouwehand_Reyn. "In 1990, I produced Deliverance: Stormlord II, my last ever SID track. Ironically, it was for Hewson Consultants, who folded soon after. It was time for a change, and by then I was starting to release dance music for club play. It's an alright piece of work, though I think the sounds were probably better than some of the tunes. I've just reworked it for a Kickstarter project and it sounds so much better now." (MDG) |

LMan:
Oh yeah! The out-of-synch snaredrum might be annoying at first, but it adds a certain raw feeling to it. Me likes!
prowler:
Cool!
maindrian:
I've been listening to this on and off for a while, and I've come to the conclusion that it's not as good as your original version, but what is? A fine arangement on its own terms for sure. Spacey, synthy goodness. Well done!
Waz:
A good try at something different with this tune, plenty of deep 80s bass and electronic sounds to really make it true EBM. And I love the way it gradually gets louder and dirtier.
Dan:
Could be a little too long but it's a nice original piece and very pleasent to listen to
Skitz:
Nicely done but just doesnt standout for me possibly because of that syncopated drum 😊
omoroca:
Very boring, very bad mixing.
infamous:
Timings too far out for me to give this a high rating… It would have worked great had it not been for the sync problems im sure with a quick look over it can be sorted out… Unless it was meant this way
Chris Abbott:
It sounds like a mess to me, albeit an 80s inspired mess. It's the timing. I'm a huge fan of exact timing, and this just doesn't groove my muppet.
weasel:
Nice idea on that one though! Beginning was ok… But turned sadly into something worse later on! So it's just an average for me now! 🫤 Could maybe have had some potential if better arranged etc…
eliot:
Some good, some bad… Average
