The fact that there are two versions of Streethawk music is part of the whole mystery of Streethawk, really. It started in 1985 and was programmed by Mike Webb, who'd just come off Amstrad Kong Strikes Back. Lateral thinker that he is, he had a rather unique design going (a sideways scrolling platform-jumping design which is probably now lost forever), and I think he went on holiday for a week or two, and when he came back they decided to have him do another project - or, he left to join forces with Richard Kay at Software Creations. Comment:	This is a re-interpreted cover by Galway. "I had done music for Mike Webb's version of the game, simply taking a stab at the title screen music without doing anything else. I did it some time in the summer of 1985, so it sonically resembles Cyclone/Helicopter Jagd and Neverending Story. There was no filter technology in my driver. All that Ocean had as reference for the show was an NTSC tape of the pilot episode of the series, which we were able to play on our futuristic, highly-technical NTSC-playback VCR/TV. By listening to the opening & closing credits, I put the tune in by ear." (MG)

At first I was disappointed, that this one is not the usual funky moog-stuff and I didn't lke the orgininal SID either. But I can't stop listen to that remix. So I gave up: another red one to the moogmaster!

Very atmospheric remix, I also like the way the lead instrument is done, it keeps the Galway feel to it. I wouldn't say it's the best of moogs remixes, but it's different from the funkier ones and deserves a red nonetheless!

This sounds too close to the original Tangerine Dream tune, except not as powerful. Great remix, great arrangement, great mixing, etc., but the idea is not very original, and it's basically the same tune Street Hawk itself is based on.
