STIL commentMega Apocalypse was the sequel to Crazy Comets. Music by Rob Hubbard, samples by Simon Nicol. Tunes #7 and #8 were sampled from the film "Star Wars". Mega Apocalypse was also the first C64 game to have three channel music and samples playing while you were playing the game. "I [...] think that Comets is much better than Mega A." (RH)

OVERALL REMIX64 VOTE:

SarahKreuz:
Very oldschool remixing. For sure not for those who wants a HQ (almost studio-like) Remix. But I see the effort here.
K8-bit:
Sounds about 15 years out of date instrument-wise, but is musically a straightforward adaptation, with some nice inventive personal flourishes like the organ+guitar use, but it has an overall GM sound that's a bit offputting☹️
LaLa:
It has several great ideas arrangement-wise, but I think what's missing here really badly is decent mixing: it's like the remix was recorded in a tin can.
gary:
This sounds like the SNES Mega Apocalypse music (or the PT mod it was based on) with added reverb/echo effects that go way too far.
