It was a lot of fun, but I recomposed every tune about three times to get it perfect. I still think it is one of the best audio tracks I ever did on the C64." "One nice, very nice note: 'Turbo Outrun' (the music) has won the: 'Best music on 8bit computer 1989' award at the PCW show (now ECTS) in London. :D Too bad I had to find out later. I expected a better build up at the start… Was giving it a chance… But then… Let down by repetition and all round bad composition, rips and mixes don't cut it for me m'afraid! And the SAM voice is out of place… If anything, it's well mixed.
