Comment: The opening bars of this tune are sampled by the group Console on their song "14 Zero Zero".

Comment: "I was working at the Sensible Software office at the time of the major music creation, but the title screen music never got finished. When I returned to Ocean I got on with some other things, all the time worrying about this unfinished tune. Finally I slapped something on the end of it. I knew I could never top the first part, that's what the problem was. In my mind the second part of the tune is pretty lame compared with the first part. But for some people it represents the mysterious, magical, unconventional aspect of 'Wizball' so it fits in some ways. But you can tell it's not really like the other music in the game, which was primarily developed when I was with the Sensi boys, basking in that Sensi VIBE." (MG) "I really worked on the sound design of the voices a lot. The music seems to "flow" and "breathe" unlike anything before it." (MG)

Comment: "Tune #5, the bonus screen tune, consists of several short riffs, and John Hare came up with the most musical ones on his bass guitar. I remember he would come up with the riffs, playing them over and over at full volume on his band's P.A. in their rented terraced house in Southend (not caring about what the neighbours thought!!!) - and while they went out to get me a "blow-out" burger at 3am, I would be transcribing it and enhancing it (a little)."   Comment: "I composed the high-score music at Ocean after returning from Southend. Played it on the synth keyboard there. It's one of the few compositions of mine that I can actually play a decent rendition of on the piano." (MG)

Comment: "Chris Yates wrote the game over riff on his electric guitar. They were pretty impressed by the translation when they came back with my blow-out." (MG)

OVERALL REMIX64 VOTE:

infamous:
Very different approach to the tune and I absolutely adore it. It sounds lovely the idea is a brilliant one… Great great stuff from the wobbly one
moog:
Very nice effort, but the original SID blends a bit in this adaptation.
Dumper:
A pretty good attempt to do something different with a tune that has been remixed many times.
migu:
Gotta give points for originality. Can't say anything else yet, after listening to it only two times.
LMan:
The background arrangement is spot-on. The odd chord-lead is something you have to get used to, though. Spacey for sure.😊
Dan:
Hmmmm… Slinky 😊
Waz:
A bit too strange for some people, that lead just will kill it for some, sadly.
Nada:
OK, the lead is very orbital - but not as bad as some believe. It's a nice track.
condor:
Didivided opinions in me… Good.
eliot:
Mellow… Missing some punch…
LaLa:
Sounds random, off-key, a bit too avantgarde for my ears. Good choice of instruments, balanced mix. It's just not for me.
damien:
A nice little remix, nothing to get much excited about.
drax:
I like the sound and the general feel of this remix but what the hell happened to the lead… That kvart-like lead sounds really odd… IMO too odd… What a pity it kinda mess up the tune… That's a pity… Otherwise a good remix…
klosterkatten:
Cute.
prowler:
Strange and messy…
marko42:
Nor good neither bad
_steve_:
The lead is just too weird and ruins this song for me.
Tas:
Sounds like a jumbled mess of ideas and sounds to me.
omoroca:
I feel harmonically offended by that lead. Could've been Very Good, but with this lead it just HURTS! Disqualified!
