Comment: The opening bars of this tune are sampled by the group Console on their song "14 Zero Zero".

Comment: "I was working at the Sensible Software office at the time of the major music creation, but the title screen music never got finished. When I returned to Ocean I got on with some other things, all the time worrying about this unfinished tune. Finally I slapped something on the end of it. I knew I could never top the first part, that's what the problem was. In my mind the second part of the tune is pretty lame compared with the first part. But for some people it represents the mysterious, magical, unconventional aspect of 'Wizball' so it fits in some ways. But you can tell it's not really like the other music in the game, which was primarily developed when I was with the Sensi boys, basking in that Sensi VIBE." (MG) "I really worked on the sound design of the voices a lot. The music seems to "flow" and "breathe" unlike anything before it." (MG)

Comment: "Tune #5, the bonus screen tune, consists of several short riffs, and John Hare came up with the most musical ones on his bass guitar. I remember he would come up with the riffs, playing them over and over at full volume on his band's P.A. in their rented terraced house in Southend (not caring about what the neighbours thought!!!) - and while they went out to get me a "blow-out" burger at 3am, I would be transcribing it and enhancing it (a little)."   Comment: "I composed the high-score music at Ocean after returning from Southend. Played it on the synth keyboard there. It's one of the few compositions of mine that I can actually play a decent rendition of on the piano." (MG)

Comment: "Chris Yates wrote the game over riff on his electric guitar. They were pretty impressed by the translation when they came back with my blow-out." (MG)

MOOG IS BACK!!! 😃 Great guitars and mixing and STYLE! Really amazing how you get it _always_ on the point! More, More, More MORE, please!
chilli_uk:
IMO never galways better work - for anyone saying nothing new - thats right - but this is so well produced - hits the spot for a beer in the garden - nice 1 moogy
dafunk:

Summertime, here we come.
Dumper:
Beautifully made.
eliot:
Very nice… Too nice imho 😉
LaLa:
Like the guitar, like the playfulness displayed, but we've heard better arrangements of Wizball before. Kinda cool, but nothing surprisingly new.
dimmignatt:
Sweet remix. Though the "guitar kinda ruins the feeling and the tune sounds a bit empty at places. Nothing big though.
romeo_knight:
Moog, this sounds so nice. I wish you'd have taken a real guitar instead of this aseptic guitar sample.😀
prowler:
It was just a question of time before moog got his hands on this soft classic piece. Good work!
_steve_:
As Makke says, this technically is a wonderful remix. It just doesn't try to stand out from the crowd.
infamous:
Beatnick stylee wizball, takes it out of the lift music vein and puts it into some kind of weed den ^^ nice stuff.
Skitz:
There is nothing wrong with this remix but I still think the version from the BIT3 CD is the definitive remix.
Makke:
Technically this is just outstanding! I'm not jumping out of my socks, because this song has been done really well a lot of times now. It's time someone did something more creative with this SID.
Waz:
Funky effort for the high score tune. Nice guitars, although the lead that comes in a bit later just isn't strong or emotive enough. That apart, a very good effort indeed.
omoroca:
The worst moog I've heard so far. I absolutely don't like it. The Wizball highscore theme has been remixed too often, and there are so many versions that are so much better. Me being a moog fan doesn't save this from being only Good.
condor:
Makke said it all.
xerex:
Good mix
