| #1 - The Devil's Gallop [from the Dick Barton radio show] | |
| Artist: | Charles Williams |
| Comment: | Heavily inspired by the song Devil's Gallop, which was the title theme for the 1940's American detective radio show "Dick Barton". "Monty [...] started out as the theme from the old radio detective show, Dick Barton" (RH, in the UK magazine "Popular Computing") "MOTR was supposed to be this run around like a madman type music and has lots of energy. The middle section was an excuse to use the new pitch bend code that I wrote for this project." (RH) |
L0rd3vyL:
Pretty sweet for a first time effort
Mordi:
Excellent guitars. Although the rest of the instruments lack a certain quality, the feeling this track creates overshadows the technicalities. The solo at the end is especially sweet.
LMan:
Sweet, like the original!
LaLa:
Nicely done, great guitar work on the lead!
mfe:
Orange for a solid first-entry song. Good stuff.
Dr Future:
This is nice. Somewhat different, can't explain. Nice 1st release, Phil!
Jojje70:
Very nice lead guitar, especially the harmony parts. Good remix but maybe a little too straightforward in the arrangement for my taste. Very close to an orange though.
