STIL commentVery interesting story here. Katakis was released in September 1988 by Rainbow Arts, however it never got a release in the UK as Activision had it cancelled because of similarities to R-Type, to which Activision had bought the conversion rights. Activision were getting nowhere with their conversion of R-Type and they liked what they saw of Katakis, so they hired the same programming team (Manfred Trenz and others) to do the C64 conversion. They only got 6 weeks to write the conversion, and sadly, it shows. Katakis was eventually altered and released as Denaris in 1989. Tunes #2 to #14 all cover of the arcade game.

I like the contrast presented here (dancey vs. Dreamy). It's a little short, but quite good!
condor:
Too short unfortunately, otherwise it would be orange one 😊
Dumper:
Good remix, just leaves the feeling a bit more could have been done with it.

Its good!. … But not the Amok I know.

Nice remix, nice instrumental choices. Nothing groundbreaking or any surprises, just a faithful cover of a classic song.
XxDUSTYxX:
Good remix.

Not bad for a 4 hours remix! But it kind of sounds like there could been more effort put into this.
